Request data deletion

Bomensa v1.0 has no user account. This page explains how to request deletion of personal information you previously sent to Bomensa through feedback or support.

How to request deletion

Email info@bomensa.com with the subject Bomensa data deletion request. If possible, send the request from the same email address you used when contacting Bomensa so we can identify the relevant support record.

In your message, tell us that you want the personal information associated with your feedback or support contact deleted. Do not send passwords, health records, identity documents or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Email deletion request

Data that may be deleted

Depending on what you previously submitted, a deletion request may cover your optional reply email, the feedback category and message, and the limited technical context attached to that report, such as app version/build, platform, operating-system version and originating screen. It may also cover the corresponding support-email record held by Bomensa.

Bomensa does not have remote access to your local meal history, profile, Favorites or Recent foods. To remove those local records, clear the app's data through your device settings where available, or delete the app and its data.

What may be retained

We will delete or anonymize eligible Bomensa support records where practicable after verifying the request. Limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, prevent abuse, maintain security records, or complete normal hosting/mail backup cycles.

Because hosting and email infrastructure is provided through Domínios.pt and managed with cPanel, operational logs or provider backups may persist for their normal retention cycles before expiring.
