1. About these terms

These Terms concern the Bomensa app and website. The publisher is Burhan Akalin, Portugal. Questions can be sent to info@bomensa.com. For EU App Store distribution, additional statutory trader contact details are displayed on Bomensa’s App Store product page where required.

By using Bomensa, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, you should stop using the app and website.

2. What Bomensa provides

Bomensa supports everyday healthy-eating education and meal planning for generally healthy users. You can organize meals, select familiar portions and review estimates and eating patterns. It is not a promise of any particular health or weight outcome.

Bomensa v1.0 is intended for generally healthy adults aged 19–64. Other age ranges and specialized life-stage nutrition needs are outside the current supported scope.

3. Nutrition and safety

Bomensa is not a medical service and does not diagnose, treat or prevent disease. Its information is not a substitute for individualized advice from a qualified healthcare professional or dietitian.

Daily needs and food values are estimates. Actual needs and nutrient amounts vary with the person, brand, recipe, preparation and serving size. Food entries do not guarantee allergen suitability or replace product labels. See Nutrition & safety for more context.

Seek appropriate professional guidance for a diagnosed condition, a prescribed diet, pregnancy-related nutrition needs, an eating-disorder concern or history, or other needs requiring individualized clinical care.

4. Local data and availability

The reviewed v1.0 app works without a Bomensa account. Core profile and planning information is stored on your device. Bomensa does not provide cloud backup, cross-device sync or guaranteed recovery after device loss, removal of app data or operating-system changes.

You are responsible for the information you enter and for protecting access to your device. Features and food information may be corrected or updated. Availability can be interrupted by maintenance, faults or circumstances outside our control; continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

5. Acceptable use and intellectual property

Use the app for lawful personal purposes. Do not disrupt its operation, bypass security measures, infringe others’ rights or redistribute Bomensa branding or content without authorization. Nothing here restricts activity that applicable law expressly permits.

Bomensa branding, software and original content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Third-party content and software retain their respective rights and licenses. You retain any rights you have in information you enter.

6. Charges and external services

Bomensa v1.0 is offered without a subscription or in-app purchase flow. You will not be charged by Bomensa for using the current launch version.

If Bomensa later introduces paid features, subscriptions or other purchases, the price and applicable conditions will be presented before purchase and the relevant app-store payment terms will also apply. App stores and external services have separate terms; those terms do not remove mandatory rights you may have against the Bomensa publisher.

7. Responsibility and your rights

Use the app’s estimates as general planning information and exercise your own judgment. To the extent permitted by law, Bomensa is provided on an “as available” basis and may contain errors, interruptions or incomplete information. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

8. Ending use, changes and disputes

You may stop using Bomensa at any time. Removing the app and its data can permanently remove local records; see the Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms when the product, law or our operating model changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where required, additional notice in the app, website or store listing.

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law that applies to them. For questions or complaints, contact info@bomensa.com. Where a mandatory consumer complaint or alternative-dispute-resolution mechanism applies, you may also use that mechanism.
